A big change - and an actual review!! (I Heart Revolution rainbow shots in Silver Angel)

Hi.

This is me. Writing an actul review for a real product you can buy on the shelves right now. Fulfilling this blogs purpose.

But first, to pick up where we left off. After all the palava with my hair over the last few months, I really needed a change. And boy oh boy did Sarah (Sarah_lovetea of Style Sixteen in Stevenage) deliver.

A quick hair catch up

Soooooo.

It has been about 6 months. I guess ~life~ got busy, and I don't think blogging will ever be a priority for me. But I do enjoy rambling on, so hey ho.

A lot has changed in the world of my hair. So enjoy this quick rundown if you like - beware lots of crappy quality pictures of hair below:

Goodbye Green, Part 3/???

So it's been almost 1 whole week since my last post, did you miss me?

Never fear, I'm back and I'm trying something different.

Up till now, I have been focusing on colour removal - damn you green!! - which is still an element but it's time to tackle this from a different angle.

Welcome, Bleach London shampoo and conditioner in Rose!

The product description specifically states it is for covering unwanted green tones, as well as helping with upkeep of dyed pink hair. I have absolutely no problem with my hair turning pink, so let's give this a go!

Goodbye Green, part 2/??

Howdy.

We're back for another thrilling installment of me, essentially narrating my own life.

Today's post is not one I've been looking forward too. If you are somehow just coming across this, my hair is currently a (tbf, not completely hideous) shade of light minty green and I'm trying to get rid of it. Last week, I tried Vitamin C (check out part one here) which was not a complete fail, but wasn't what I needed.

Green is difficult. And on every thread about removing green streaks (swimmers hair, or like mine unwanted staining!) you'll see one option always being bandied about.

Ketchup.

Now, I am a fussy easter. I can eat ketchup if it has been refrigerated, and if I am specifically in the mood for it, but the thought of putting it all over my head is nauseating.

But, its so often recommended and the science makes sense (opposite sides of the colour wheel yo). Plus it's cheap and it shouldn't damage my hair. I really do need to give it a go.

With that in mind, let's just get this over with!

Goodbye Green (Part 1/?)

Sooooooo, here we are again. We're going to ignore that it has only been a couple of hours since my last post. This is what productivity looks like!

Well here I am, typing. Talking at imaginary people that may or may not exist. Did I still write a blog if there is no-one around to read it? (If you exist, feel free to leave a comment and save me from my many existential crisiseses..es... problems)

On my introductory post, I pointed out that my hair through virtue of me adding some lovely shades of purple had picked up some unwelcome green and blue shades. You can see what I mean here.

Now green is a problem colour. It does not tend to go away on it's own, it likes to hang around forever. And I have SO many nice dyes that I want to show you, which can't be fully appreciated until I can put them on a nice, reasonably even base.

It's problem fixing time.
