A rambling introduction.

Hello. Hi.

My name is Georgie, and I am a bad blogger.

Over the course of the last 10 years, I think I have started 4...? blogs, and published maybe 6...? posts.

I get distracted, sometimes by shiney things, mostly by real life and forget all about it.

But not this time! This time will be different!! ...Maybe.

Every blog needs an introduction post doesn't it? (In the pretense it will be anyone other than the 3 people I forward the link too that read it.)

So Georgie. Bad Blogger. Goodish Person.Boring, but trying desperately to pretend otherwise by dying my hair strange colours. And that, will be the theme of this blog.

I have had my hair every imaginable colour, some completely by accident. Some have been beautiful (Note 1 : Any time my stylist gets involved, when things go right!), Some have been not so beautiful (Note 2 : Any time I get bored and think 'well what could go wrong' and then things go wrong)

My main reason for starting this blog, is that when I look up reviews for a new colour that I'm trying out I am always so thankful for the one or 2 blogs that you find with photos and descriptions and thoughts and helpful tips. And when I looked in my bathroom cuboard with the 20+ dyes I have sitting around waiting to be tried out, I thought that maybe it would be good to give it a whirl giving my own tips.

So currently, my hair is an odd colour. I recently had my stylist Sarah (from Style Sixteen in Stevenage - She is the BOMB) bleach out my hair and take it it a really light light blonde so that I could play. She put some gorgeous opalesque streaks through it, as below :

Pretty right?? But I did find myself getting startled everytime I looking into the mirror because I had never been this blonde before. I lasted about a week before I felt the urge to do some colour changing. I wont bore you with every colour I have been inbetween, mostly because I can't even tell you what dyes I used and also because if you have come here from my instagram you will have already seen (bnnyphntm, just in case you haven't!)

Nevertheless, after over a month of adding dyes, fading dyes, playing with tinted shampoo's etc, this is what we have ended up with:

Altogether a rather beautiful colour BUT, (and it is a big but) the ends of my hair which have taken the most bleach and are the most porous have picked up a green/blue. From somewhere. Now, my best bet is one of the purples I have used recently fades blue which has stained. And blue/green tones are the hardest to shift. Which gives me a great idea for my first blog post.... coming soon.

Thank you for reading my often rambling, over-encumbered with useless phrases and punctuation heavy introduction. I hope that this time, this isn't the only post that gets posted... but we shall have to wait and see.

Georgie Bunny x
